If you happened to catch any date on the 15 Years In The Making Tour, I am pretty sure you had a damn good time with the incredible lineup and hours worth of music. The last night on the tour made a stop in St. Augustine Florida in front of a sold out crowd of a few thousand people. It was practically a hometown show for A Day To Remember, who are originally from Ocala, only 2 hours away.
The Devil Wears Prada started off this show with a kick to the face of anyone in earshot. Starting their set list with Danger: Wildman (usually the closing song) they brought the energy from the first note of the night. Singer Mike Hranica is probably the wild man they speak of in that song, because he runs around every inch of the stage within the 7 song set they played. Guitarist, Jeremy Depoyster, was mostly hidden behind his massive head of hair but belting out the melodic choruses in each song.
Reptar, King of the Ozone
I am not quite familiar with Falling In Reverse, like I am with the other 3 bands on the bill, but from my vantage point, they seemed to be the odd one on this bill. More of a fan girl crowd came out to see them, due to singer Ronnie Radkey. The music sounded like rock or metal, but mixed with odd rapping in between the choruses.
I’m Not A Vampire
The Drug In Me Is You
Fuck You and All Your Friends
Losing My Mind
Just Like You
Papa roach has become a household name for any fan of rock music. Most people who probably know the song Last Resort and not the entire discography, are truly missing out on one of this generations gems.
These guys have toured the world for the last 18 years and are relentless in the pursuit to bring their version of rock music to fans in almost every corner of the globe. For those who have never had the opportunity to catch these guys, they are always a highlight of any festival or tour they are on.
I was most impressed with the lighting they had, which was the best of anyone all night. The most vibrant shades of teal, purple, and greens that I have seen at any show in years.
Tonight was extra special because in the middle of Forever, they changed it up and played a snippet of In The End by Linkin Park, on the late Chester Bennington’s birthday.
PAPA ROACH SET LIST:

Face Everything and Rise

A Day to Remember has grown into such an iconic band of this day and age. If you have ever seen them live, you know precisely why. They always seem to have such a blast performing for fans all around the world. With Spiderman shooting a t-shirt gun, beach balls, CO2 cannons, throwing rolls of toilet paper into the crowd and an insane amount of confetti.
This particular tour is a bit of a throwback to some deeper cuts of the extensive discography. For fans of the band like myself, it is by far the best set list I have ever had the pleasure of seeing them perform live.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of material from Homesick and What Separates Me From You. Hearing That’s The Danger In Starting A Fire, was worth the 4 hour drive alone.
One of the highlights to me, was when Mike Hranica of The Devil Wear Prada, came out to sing on the very first song of the evening.
Something new to the encore was 2 acoustic songs, If It Means A Lot To You & I Remember. During the performance of I Remember, the video board in the back shuffled through old shots of the guys taken by their touring photographer, Adam Elmakias.
The 5 Florida locals ended the evening with The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle and The Downfall of Us All.… and a ton of confetti.
